How your order is fulfilled
Dawn Hill Publications works with trusted print-on-demand partners to produce and ship your order once you buy it:
- Paperback books are printed and dispatched by Lulu
- Other physical products (e.g. merchandise, non-book items) are printed and dispatched by Printful
Because items are made specifically for your order, please allow time for production before dispatch — nothing is shipped from pre-made stock.
Estimated timelines
Paperback books (via Lulu)
- Production: 3–5 business days
- UK/domestic delivery: typically 7–10 days total from order to delivery
- International delivery: varies by destination, and can take longer — please allow extra time for shipments outside the UK
Other physical products (via Printful)
- Production: 2–5 business days
- UK/domestic delivery: typically 1–8 business days after production
- International delivery: typically 1–20 business days after production, depending on destination
Please note: these are estimates, not guarantees. Delays can happen due to customs processing, courier disruption, incorrect address details, or high-demand periods (e.g. around the holidays).
Orders with mixed items
If your order includes both a book and a non-book item, these will be fulfilled and shipped separately by our two partners, and may arrive on different days. You'll receive separate tracking information for each shipment.
Tracking your order
You'll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details once your item leaves our fulfillment partner's facility. If you haven't received a dispatch confirmation within the production window above, please contact us at [email address].
International orders
Customers outside the UK may be responsible for import duties, taxes, or customs fees charged by their country on arrival. These are not included in your order total and are outside Dawn Hill Publications' control.
Delayed or lost orders
If your order hasn't arrived within:
- 21 days (UK) or 6 weeks (international) for books, or
- 10 business days (UK) or 25 business days (international) for other items
Please contact us with your order number, and we'll investigate with our fulfillment partner — including arranging a reprint or replacement where appropriate.
